Getting some lens time

Lizzy put it very well when she mentioned in a comment a few days ago that we need to be demanding more time in front of the lens, and pull our peoples away from taking pictures of landscapes and flowers all the time. What's up with that anyways? So, in honor of that I am trying to get over my innate camera shyness. If you hadn't noticed, my illustriousness has been to a large part absent from this blog over the years. I am now seeking to rectify this grievous error. Even if it was, to a large extent, my fault. After all, like Pooh-Bah, "My family pride is something inconceivable."
